Gold Medal Racing Policies
Refund policy
All entries for individual participants are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued for inclement weather or other unforseen conditions, restrictions or hazards that exist on the day of the event.
Upon successfully registering for a Gold Medal Racing event, you agree to our registration and refund policies.
*Inclement Weather/Hazards/Restrictions that cause race cancellations:
If it is deemed that conditions are or may be unsafe for racing and the event is cancelled within two (2) days of the event,
no refunds of any kind will be issued. Participants may still pickup their race packets and shirts at a time and location that would be
announced on our website and email.
Injuries/transfers
If you are injured and unable to participate in the event, we will allow transfer of a race registration to another person (referred by you)
for the same event, or a discounted registration redeemable at another Gold Medal Racing event in the same season
provided we receive a verifiable doctor's note.
This request must be made via email to registration@goldmedalracing.com, from the same email
address that was used to originally register through active.com and must be made at least two weeks prior to the event date.
If you are not participating in the race and will not have a substitute, it is your responsibility to attend packet pickup to receive your packet and shirt.
These items will not be available for pickup after the race.
No race substitutions allowed
Registration materials must be picked up by the participant with a picture ID. Participants and/or family members may not pick up packets for other
athletes. Under USA Triathlon rules, a person CANNOT race under another person's number. If a person is found racing under another person's name, the
person will be disqualified and the registered participant may be barred from USA Triathlon membership for one full year.
Lost and Found
If your personal belongings are left behind at an event, Gold Medal Racing will hold on to your items for two (2) weeks after the event. To claim a lost
item, contact us via our website, phone or email and we will arrange a pickup time/location for retrieval. After two weeks, items will no longer be available
for reclaim.
